Frame

--For my works of first solo exhibition I made technique of painting liquid light on printing paper. The most remarkable trait of photograph of reproduction, however my works were hard to reproduce. Having given light on films which were taken my hairs on photographical paper with liquid light, I took many different poses such as lying in naked and crouching for quite a long time. The exposuring time was about 20 or 30 minutes. The printing paper means frames to me like legislation, norm and morality which have been laid down by human being. These things are made by themselves regardless of my will.

Hairs imply chaos and conflict of my life and I have a habit to have my hair cut whenever I encounter conflict and conversion in my life. I also have gathered the hairs whenever I made them cut. My body trembled in quiet continuously in photographic paper for a long lightening time. The trembles were expressed as a movement that longs for freedom in established framed. Thus, I gave a little to this work ¡®Frame¡¯.
