<Body Scape>

<Body Scape> is a work that begins with the harmony in the cemetery in 2013 and has a connection with the exhibition <The Edge of Landscape > The condolence flowers, graves and the surrounding area were photographed.
<Body Scape> is a picture taken of abandoned grave landscape, which is a work created by a long time plan and a landscape created without purpose.
Abandoned grave landscapes created by the plan - In 1991, residents of Daegi-dong, Naju City, investigated tombs scattered around without their masters, taking care of cemeteries at the entrance of the village.
And a potter’s field for death-row of the Bessyan in the vicinity of Daegu prison is a prison cemetery where dead bodies of prisoners were abandoned after being executed by the death penalty. The family didn’t want to get dead body or they didn’t have family members they know of to start with.
The rest of the tomb is the grave of children who died at the boys' concentration camp for throughout 40 years from the end of Japanese colonial rule(1942 to 1982). This place is a place where children have been forced to work escape from the academy of education. Abandoned bodies of children who died or were killed by violence were found. The story of the academy of acupuncture has been reported to the media a few years ago, and the Gyeonggi Provincial Government is trying to take care of graves of innocent dead children while taking care of bodies that have been neglected for many years. Death and grave, which signify the end, it makes physical and mental movement according to rational, efficiency and reason by people. And these unglazed tombs are tombs that are linked by institutions, responsibilities, and caring, and are seen as scape.

Abandoned grave landscapes made without purpose - The unrecognized grave which is cut in half found in the highway coast road is scenery which imagines the circumstance (?) Which can overlook the disappearance of the tomb when looking out the farm road. And the appearance of the unglazed tombs next to Bukhansan Dullegil is not the image of the grave but the dead tree. In addition, the closure school, dolmens, and unglazed tombs found in Daejeon-ri, Dolsan-eup, Yeosu-si is a landscape that can be seen together with the current population problem, the geographical location of the village, and the emotions of residents.

Death happens in daily life, events, coincidences and inevitabilities in the axis of time, and disappears into the axis of time again. I see a shift of insignificant value in the place of death and grave that has already come to pass. This value will change according to the situation and time even before the absolute death, and will disappear into the axis of time again.
